Selected Work
Led a team of nine policy fellows to develop an AI procurement and evaluation framework for New York City Public Schools. Delivered a market segmentation analysis, stakeholder mapping, and an original AI Procurement Scoring Matrix to support equitable, evidence-based EdTech investment decisions at scale.
Conducted independent research on AI policy trends in the U.S. and Germany at a Washington, D.C. think tank. Published five articles covering Germany's national AI strategy, opportunities for transatlantic AI collaboration, and key technology policymakers in the new German government.
Interactive benchmarking tool for North Carolina municipalities. Users select any NC municipality and compare fund balance levels, property tax rates, and tax-to-assessed-value ratios against NCLGC peer group municipalities, built to support fiscal analysis and local government decision-making.
Background
I studied economics at UNC-Chapel Hill and am now completing my MPA at the School of Government. I bring a deep interest in how governments adopt and govern emerging technology, and I've pursued that through consulting engagements, published research, and independent work building AI tools for public servants. I'm a former professional athlete and Eagle Scout.
